Beauty

Beauty

Lights do dance amongst the sky
Like little butterflies way up high
Blinking lightly, acting shy
To bring your beauty to my eye

With soft dew amongst the grass
I feel this feeling will never pass
As if to hold, but not harass
For this I cherish, I want to last

Beauty is as beauty sees
Experience does help appease
The body doesn’t seem to freeze
Or get weak, between the knees

Seeing you amongst the glow
It’s like a river, for it does flow
My love for thee, pretty doe
I’ll always feel it, this I know

Eyes as bright as the leaves are green
To me your beauty, makes you queen
In my world, my private screen
Your shine is beauty, most serene

Your hair so dark, your skin so fair
This beauty is beyond compare
You glance towards me and prepare
For this is the moment that we share

Lips so moist, and roaming too
Exploring, moving, you pursue
The passion’s there, the meaning’s true
Something’s different, fresh, and new

As if bursting forth through the night
The sun peaks through the obscure white
Bringing with it, a brand new light
To reveal the scene, the beauty, the sight

Lights do dance amongst the sky
Like little butterflies way up high
Blinking lightly, acting shy
To bring your beauty to my eye

Ending Note: It's been awhile...and I'm bored, if it felt forced...It probably was

The Mind of a Woman

So I've recently re-watched "My Best Friend's Girl" - A movie with Dane Cook, a man who is constantly hired to go on dates with guy's ex-girlfriends. Dane Cook's character, Tank, takes each lady on the worst date they could ever have, making them want to get back together with their ex's, thinking that they made a mistake and should have never left them in the first place.

I gotta say I love this movie and I like the fact that it relates to Barney's lifestyle (A character from How I Met Your Mother - a great t.v. show). Now if you know the show, like I do...You'll know that Barney is a "playa" who picks up chicks like no other. He uses cheesy pick-up lines, but it works. On Barney's blog, he always rights tips, for his readers enjoyment, on how to pick up these chicks. One thing that is always constant, is subtly putting the girl down...

Interesting...

So girls wanted to be treated equally with guys, wanted rights, etc etc...but the truth is, they like guys who treat them like shit...

I gotta say, I've started to adopt more of this life-style, when I go after girls, I don't go for the good guy routine, I used too, but girls, especially around my age, don't want or "need" this nice guy. They want the guy that's the asshole. Those one-night-stands, those party hook-ups, that happens with the guy that's the asshole. But there's something that you are probably thinking right now. Where do you draw the line of being an asshole and being mean.

Back to the point of topic, Dane Cook's Character, Tank, crossed the line. This was definitly shown within the first few moments of the movie, which I thought was well done. He hooks up with a girl at a bar, by constantly insulting her and her sister. but the best line, which made up for it, showing that he was just all talk, was "Than just walk away"...

I gotta say this...If that just doesn't show confidence, what does?

So concluding this kinda statment/movie review/ rant? I just want to say...

I'm back baby...

How To Not Get Into Fights With Women

1. Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2. Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the football before helping around the house.

3. Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don’t Do It!

4. A Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer quickly to No 9 for the meaning of nothing.)

5. That’s Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That’s okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

6. Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you’re welcome. (I want to add a clause here - This is true, unless she says ‘Thanks a lot’, which is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say ‘you’re welcome’ - that will bring on No. 7).

7. Whatever: Is a woman’s way of saying, “F– YOU!”

8. Don’t worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking ‘What’s wrong?’ For the woman’s response refer to No. 4.

9. Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in “Fine”.

I've Dealt With It

Remember this lesson, listen close and beware
Don't fret on the past, it's done, I declare
Live on with your life, don't fret with despair
Tomorrow always comes indefinitely unaware

I've dealt with the pain, the loss, and the sorrow
Free as the wind blows

I've set sail across a sea
A land like no other, it has come to be
Like a missionary sailing home to thee
My problems are finished, finally I'm free

I've dealt with the devil in the land of tomorrow
Free as the grass grows

Freedom is happy, freedom is fair
Freedom is seen through the shine in my hair
I do what I want, I really don't care
I'll do anything, honestly, give me a dare

I've dealt with friends and family to borrow
Free as the river flows

The freedom is so blessed away from this curse
The curse of the dealing, the dealing is worse
To cope with problems that are trivial and perverse
I'm done, I'm gone, my feelings disperse

It's over, the boat set sail a day before morrow
Free as the moon glows

Happy I am to be finally free
Free of the grip of the Acedia bee
It stings you and than you all but plea
Plea to relieve the sadness in thee

Remember this lesson, listen close and beware
Don't fret on the past, it's done, I declare
Live on with your life, don't fret with despair
Tomorrow always comes indefinitely unaware

Quote

Many of us crucify ourselves between two thieves

Regret for the past and fear of the future

I really think that sums up my life in general...I really regret the past...(girlfriends mainly, and I know I shouldn't be saying that, I should be happy that I had the "experience" and that I'm "growing" from every "experience" I have...etc etc...) And I'm constantly worried about my future, what it's going to look like...where I'm going to university...Will I be happy? Will I be rich? Will I have all 300 exotic cars that I really want?!?! (well, it's like 5...but I'll take extras...)
